Carnegie Hall NYO2 Video Premiere

Excited to finally share this!

My crazy, bombastic piece Side by Side written for Carnegie Hall's NYO2 Orchestra and conductor Mei-Ann Chen this past summer! When thinking about the work as a digital piece I knew I wanted to approach different ways of filming an orchestra along with integrating captions as an essential artistic element. Therefore also very grateful to engage Andy Slater to write sound descriptions that are visually integrated into the video frame, Austin Regan to lead video direction, and Kevin Eikenberg / Four/Ten Media for video editing. Special thanks of course to conductor Mei-Ann Chen, the NYO2 musicians, and entire Carnegie Hall team for supporting bringing accessibility to new work.
